Since then, the 25-year-old has emerged as a fan favourite at Arsenal with his breathtaking displays making him an instant hit.
In truth, he has been one of the few positive notes in a so far disappointing season for the Gunners, which has seen them already drop out of the title race.
However, the Metro reports that Sanchez still rates his new squad as highly as Barcelona, where he played with the likes of Xavi, Andres Iniesta, Lionel Messi and Neymar.
Meanwhile, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is under pressure to strengthen in next month's January transfer window, with players such as Mats Hummels and Sami Khedira being linked.

"The quality here is impressive," he said. "It's the same level more or less as Barcelona.

"You only need to glance around to see that. We do different things in training but player-for-player, it's just about the same."
